The Newt Conservation Partnership have been granted Responsible Body status by DEFRA!

We are delighted to announce that our partners at the Newt Conservation Partnership (NCP) have been granted Responsible Body status by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs). This recognition enables NCP to enter into Conservation Covenant agreements with landowners across the UK, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing efforts to promote biodiversity conservation.

This achievement underscores the expertise, commitment, and integrity that NCP brings to the field of nature conservation and biodiversity net gain (BNG). We extend our congratulations to the entire NCP team for this well-deserved recognition and the vital role they play in safeguarding our natural environment.

At NatureSpace, we are excited about the opportunities this development presents. As NCP moves forward with their Conservation Covenant agreements, we look forward to offering high-quality compensation sites to the BNG market. This partnership will enable developers to invest in schemes that prioritise nature at the core of their environmental commitments, helping to drive positive, lasting change for wildlife and habitats across the country.

Together, we are committed to creating a sustainable future where both people and nature thrive.
