    • Receive a quote

      The NatureSpace Network Rail team will be in touch with your quote within:

      1 full working day for low-impact projects
      10 full working days for high-impact projects

    • Pay your fee and get certified

      Once you have agreed to the quote, our team will provide you with an invoice.

      Once the payment has been received you can get certified within 3 full working days. 

      *All applications pay a £2,000 (+VAT) base rate fee. For high-impact projects (see full application form), an additional fee is calculated proportionate to the impacts.

    • Network Rail authorise you under their Licence

      Once you have been certified through NatureSpace, Network Rail give you final authorisation to work under their Licence.

    • Start site works

      Once you are authorised by Network Rail you can commence works.

      If great crested newts do turn up on-site, you do not have to stop works, you can simply move the newts to a safe location and carry on.
