Matthew has a BSc in Natural History and an MSc in Wildlife Conservation from the University of South Wales. He has volunteered for conservation projects in Costa Rica and Botswana, and as a research assistant in South Africa and Madagascar. He worked in ecological consultancy for one year, which mainly involved surveying for protected species, including great crested newts. Matthew is now focusing on his passion for GIS as a Technical Officer for NatureSpace.
