Katie studied at the University of Exeter, graduating with a BSc in Zoology. During her time at University, Katie developed a passion for nature and how we can work towards conserving it in our changing world. Since completing her degree, Katie has worked as a Field Ecologist, conducting species surveys across the United Kingdom, where her interest in amphibians started. Katie joined NatureSpace as a District Licensing Officer in 2023 and now uses her expertise from her time as an ecologist, along with the skills she has developed in post, to assist Councils and developers with great crested newt licensing.
