Fenella graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Wildlife Conservation at Nottingham Trent University. During this time, she gained experience through volunteering with her local Wildlife Trust on a SSSI nature reserve and worked as a seasonal assistant ecologist in an ecological consultancy. Having gained field and technical experience with protected species, Fenella went on to work in a multi-disciplinary advisory service delivering ecological advice to local planning authorities for over two years before joining NatureSpace in December 2025 as an Assistant District Licensing Officer.
