Five years ago on the 1st of August 2019 – we welcomed 9 local authorities into the NatureSpace District Licence Scheme –

- West Oxfordshire District Council
- West Northamptonshire Council
It’s been a great five years working together – during that time we have lost 5.74 ponds to development but have created or restored 97 high-quality new ones and over 340 hectares of terrestrial habitat for great crested newts (and lots of other freshwater biodiversity).
